Welcome to my website! This online portfolio showcases my professional and personal experiences in the IT field. My journey in IT began in 2016, following three years in the audio-visual and related industries. My interest in computers, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity began while working as an installer at AT&T. There, I gained hands-on experience installing IPTV, satellite television, DSL and fiber internet, and VOIP systems.
Eager to deepen my knowledge, I immersed myself in online learning platforms like Pluralsight and ITProTV along with various home lab projects. These efforts paid off when I landed my first role in IT as a Computer Technician for Shelby County Public Schools. Within six months, I was promoted to Systems Analyst, and later I advanced to the position of Information Security Specialist.
After four years at the school district, I joined STEPcg as a Network Support Engineer 1 and was promoted to a Network Support Engineer 2 after 9 months.
